Twenty Five Hours a Day


Hi! And welcome to 25 Hours a Day! This is my first foray into the world of blogging. I have been mulling over starting a blog for several years and have finally decided to give it a go.

I started this blog with an idea to create an interactive community of people who are working towards creating better work-life balance. It seems like the more technology and access to information we have the busier and less connected we have all become. It’s definitely something that I have struggled with and have recently begun focusing on more in my life. I have a husband, son and a dog, I work full-time and go to school in an accelerated degree program. My week is filled with work and school, the weekends are full of errands that can’t be done throughout the week and I sometimes I feel like I am on a hamster wheel, running like crazy but not accomplishing all the things that need to be accomplished and not always focusing on the things that are most important to me because the list of demands seems to take on a life of its own!

There has to be a better way!

Through this blog, I will share the resources that I come across that are helping me achieve my goal of meeting all of my obligations and still being able to fit in the free-time and family-time that at times feels like it falls by the wayside. I will also share the tools that I am developing to help me better organize and prioritize my schedule ( I am a huge fan of planners and have never been able to find just the right system that meets all of my needs ).

I believe that no one person has all the answers but together we can come up with some pretty great ideas to help each other live happier more fulfilling lives!
